Salary and Benefits
Starting base salary: $45,000; participation in cafeteria plan - $12,800 annual allowance for insurance premiums; 4% SEP (employer) contribution.

The Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Associations is seeking an outstanding individual for the position of Associate Executive Director.
The Coordinator of Member Services is responsible for:
Communications – create and schedule all association electronic communications; create marketing plans for membership recruitment and events.
Database Management – maintenance of association membership and communications databases and appropriate reporting to executive director, board of directors, and national principals’ association.
Web Content Management - maintenance of website content and updating member resources.
Professional Learning (Event) Management – under the direction of the Associate Executive Director create online event information and registration portals; maintain attendee rosters; responsible for event invoicing; schedule event marketing/communications; coordinate on site and online logistics where appropriate.
Administrative Support – assist executive director with calendar management; personal meetings management; and partner meetings support.
Foundation Support – assist executive director with meeting direction for the MEMSPA Foundation board of directors, supporting initiatives and fundraising efforts.
Key Performance Indicators
Key performance indicators include:
Increased number of individuals served through MEMSPA learning offerings – state-wide and regionally
Increased number of educators choosing to become members of the association
Timely and effective association communications
Working Conditions
MEMSPA offers a modern, comfortable, professional office environment. Remote working is permitted – occasionally. Face-to-face office time will be required. Physical demands are minimal but necessary in event facilitation. Travel required for conferences and workshops that will involve nights/weekends.

Qualifications
Associates degree (preferred) in a relevant field
A minimum of three years professional experience in the association industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects under time and resource pressure
Detail and results-oriented
Proficient in use of common office technology platforms and programs (i.e. Wordpress, Microsoft Suite, Google, etc.)
Willingness to learn about the latest advances in effective use of digital and social media for learning and communication
