The African Studies Association (ASA) is seeking an Awards & Fellowships Coordinator. The ASA Awards & Fellowships Coordinator is a part-time, fully remote position on a one-year renewable contract. Primary responsibilities include the facilitation of all internally and externally funded awards, honors, and fellowships. Attendance at the Annual Meeting is required to support fellows and awards ceremony logistics onsite. The position averages 20hrs/week, with a higher concentration of hours expected during Fall and Winter months surrounding the Annual Meeting. Benefits include extended paid holidays the week following the Annual Meeting and two weeks during the academic winter break. ASA will also provide a laptop to execute work.
