Position SummaryDevelops research strategy and leads research at ABEM on topics that inform Emergency Medicine (EM) certification programs, the EM specialty, and the EM community. Leads the study design and IRB approval, ensuring timely preparation, editing, and submission of manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals. Collaborates closely with Directors and external researchers to ensure timely completion of ABEM-approved research proposals. Provides staff leadership for ABEM’s Research Committee. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Ph.D. in health services research, public health, assessment and evaluation, psychometrics, statistics or other research-related fields required.  (M.D./D.O. with M.S., M.P.H, or higher preferred)
