SUMMARY This remote position manages and strengthens relationships with all NCSS members, four core membership groups (Associated Groups, Operations Committees, Special Interest Communities, and Affiliated Councils), and the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society. The primary responsibilities support member recruitment, engagement, and retention; manage volunteer leadership appointments and support; and promote ongoing communications between membership groups, NCSS members, and the public.  This position is familiar with the association’s governance structure, policies, and procedures, and assists with the annual House of Delegates meeting.
