Position Summary
The Marketing Operations and Data Analyst is responsible for managing the company's CRM system and marketing automation systems and related processes, including database and lead management, campaign attribution and accurate ROI reporting. This professional will work closely with marketing, IT, and web teams to ensure that marketing efforts generate leads of the highest quality possible. This key role will uncover critical insights to drive marketing strategy and improve marketing decision-making. This position enables WAEPA to support the delivery of financial and strategic objectives to measure our success.
Position Accountabilities
This position provides analysis and insight on all ongoing marketing activities to support planning and decision-making. You will determine key performance indicators, collecting and analyzing data, and reporting campaign success, developing and maintaining data dashboards. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Automation and Data Operations:
Serve as the Marketing point person for all data needs.
Maintain Leads database – ensuring existing and incoming data is accurate.
Manage aspects of the marketing automation platform, (ClickDimensions) including scoring, automation rules, data hygiene, CRM sync (Microsoft Dynamics), integrations, automated workflows, reports, analysis, and troubleshooting.
Automate and improve data integrity and data management initiatives, including segmentation implementation and analysis; list management; and lead processes.
Create standardized marketing reporting and dashboards, regularly presenting performance to the marketing team.
Work with External vendors and IT Department for CRM architecture based on Marketing's ever-growing needs.
Stay informed of all appropriate regulatory guidelines, privacy and data management policies and make recommendations for departmental growth and alignment.
Serve as an SME for the internal PAS/HPS replacement software project.
Lead processes and optimize workflows to improve automation, customization, and personalized messaging through best practices in audience data management, technology, and messaging within channel.
Evaluate new tools and add-on applications to improve marketing performance.
Create, run and analyze reports in CRM on marketing key performance indicators (KPI).
Analytics:
Manage First-Party Data Strategy.
Provide monthly reporting, data and analysis for CMO as needed.
Manage BODA (Power BI) dashboards; maintain existing dashboards and serve as the POC to incorporate changes and enhancements (visual architecture and knowledge of data available for data segmentation).
Track advertising costs and ROI from marketing activities to better communicate, identify gaps and opportunities, and continuously improve our approach to align with the needs of the business and facilitate the budget reconciliation processes.
Drive various advanced data modeling techniques to identify trends that suggest new marketing and business opportunities and follow through with the recommendation of key strategies to leverage opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
5 years of proven and successful experience and expertise in CRM solutions and marketing automation.
Excellent analytical skills and proven experience with reporting and data analysis.
Advanced Knowledge of Excel.
Knowledge of database and email marketing best practices i.e., deployment, testing, deliverability, performance analysis, CAN-SPAM laws, GDPR Regulations and database hygiene.
Experience reporting on marketing performance, analyzing data, and translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.

Required Experience of Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or communications
5 years of experience in marketing, analytics or data strategy
Microsoft Office -- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on management experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Hands-on management experience with ClickDimensions.
Familiarity with Google Analytics.
Strong proficiency with audience data management, SQL, and other database sources.
Measure(s) of success
Provide post-campaign results, to include ROI of campaigns to demonstrate value of campaign.
Monthly check-ins with CMO to provide campaign/project status and budget figures.
Organizational growth of 1% (~3,300 new applications in FY 2023).
