Salary range: $80,000-$100,000. Ngage Management offers unlimited vacation time, paid holiday leave, health insurance and a 401k plan.

Ngage Management, a growing company that provides full-service association management to clients on a national level, is seeking an experienced association professional that has a passion and an understanding of healthcare profession to serve as the Executive Director for a national association. This position will provide leadership to the associations’ operations, programs and services and will work in partnership board of directors and other staff members to accomplish strategic objectives.

With broad authority, the Executive Director provides leadership and vision to ensure that the association accomplish their mission and strategical plan.
Serves as liaison to the Board of Directors, keeping them fully informed on the condition of the Association and all issues influencing the leadership and its members. Facilitates and participates and reports at all meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings.
Executes all decisions of the President, Executive Committee and Board of Directors except when other assignment of execution is specifically made.
Executes all contracts and commitments authorized by the association.
Develops and manages budgets and approve all expenditures to ensure overall financial health.
Oversees the association’s daily operations and the staff members supporting the association.
Manages the association’s committees/tasks forces (delegating to other staff, as appropriate).
Designs and executes educational initiatives (with the support of subject matter experts).
Drives membership recruitment/retention and volunteer/member engagement strategies.
Represents the organization and participate in national meetings of the parent organization, as applicable.
Manage legislative activities related to the organization (in partnership with lobbyist and other external consultants, as applicable).
Maintains effective relationships with the executives of associations, businesses, and industries related to the profession.
Partners with organizational leaders to assure a strong organization with regular management and organizational reports on the status and challenges facing the association profession.
A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent work experience
Three or more years of experience managing a medical association
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance competing projects on tight deadlines
Strong staff management and volunteer leadership skills
Excellent project management, delegation, and decision-making skills
Ability to work unpredictable hours, including some evenings and weekends
Ability to think strategically
Polished verbal communication skills, including interpersonal, presentation, writing and public speaking skills
Ability to communicate complex professional and advocacy issues
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Teams, Asana, Zoom, databases) and ability to learn new software easily
Ability to travel (including overnight stays) up to 15% of the time.
