Coordinates and manages membership programs and activities for the Academy of International Business (https://aib.world) located at Michigan State University and performs other duties as assigned. Reports to the Executive Director. Directly communicates with members to address membership needs and inquiries. Provides administrative services such as membership and conference registration processing for the AIB and its constituents such as its shared interest groups, chapters, affiliates, and committees to offer, strengthen, and expand programs. Assists the AIB staff including the AIB Executive Board, committee members, shared interest group and chapter chairs, and the Executive Director in the development of goals and programs. Oversees and processes member services and program activities such as conferences, symposiums, workshops. Works closely with the Communications Manager on newsletters, social media posts, and other communications as applicable. Prepares and analyzes results of evaluation instruments such as membership reports, conference registrations, and scholarships. Reviews the Treasurer’s account reports monthly, quarterly, and annually with the Executive Director. Travels both domestically and globally at least once a year for up to 10 days at a time for onsite conference/event support. Nights and weekends may be required during conference/event peak times.
The job requires knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a Master's degree in business or related field; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in organizational administration or a field closely related to the purpose of the consortium; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
