Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) seeks a Manager, Membership Operations to manage and drive the activities central to the Membership team, including governance of the GMAC Membership Policy and delivering Member School services.
The Impact You Will Have
You will work closely with colleagues on the Corporate Services, Market Development, Central Marketing and Technology teams on executing and driving Membership School activities and services, and will serve as the primary source of member communications internally and externally.
Key Things You Will Be Doing
- Provide exceptional service as the main point of contact in supporting GMAC Member School Representatives for their entire member lifecycle.
- Manage the collection, administration, tracking, and reporting of Member School data with an eye towards improving the efficiency of gathering member information, providing insights on member behavior and identifying and advising on opportunities to enhance member services. Key metrics for tracking, analysis and reporting include items such as:
- Membership compliance;
- Utilization of benefits;
- Member feedback; and
- Dean and Member Representative role verification, contact information, tenure in role.
- Develop, create, and maintain Membership communication plans and collateral covering all Membership related items such as: Member Handbook, Membership Application, and associated forms, Membership Matters newsletter content and coordination, compliance notifications, etc.
- Partner with Market Development to process and onboard new members. Tasks include activities such as prepopulating member application data, updating GMAC systems, managing processes & communications, etc.
- Work with the VP of School & Industry Engagement to define the Membership and Governance presence at GMAC Conferences. Develop and execute plan for implementation.
- Develop and maintain departmental websites, member facing and internal stakeholder, and social media communication to ensure they are current, informative and add value.
- Serve on the internal School Engagement team to strengthen communications and partnership with Customer Care, Market Development and other market facing groups in order to best serve the needs of and enhance GMAC engagement with member schools.
- Support the Member and Board governance initiatives, activities, and goals.
- Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and relevant experience.
- 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong customer service orientation and helpful attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational, project planning, presentation and time management skills with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to manage daily operations of the function and prioritize work without direction.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Comfort with multi-tasking.
- Ability to work in-office and remotely according to GMAC’s hybrid work environment.
