We're searching for a Membership Sales Associate who will play an essential role responsible for growing the business by selling membership of the organization. The Membership Sales Associate will research individuals who would be an ideal fit for the Manufacturers Alliance's Council programs. This is a complete sales-cycle role, from generating leads to closing the business. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual interested in selling to the C-Suite and working with Fortune 1000 leaders. The opportunity offers an attractive commission plan - allowing team members to be rewarded for their hard work. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and intellectually curious. Job Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving an individual revenue quota
Leverage sales tools to drive prospective members through the sales funnel
Conduct discovery calls, understand customer needs, and align with the organization's value proposition
Assist in managing the sales process from prospecting to closing, meeting, and exceeding goals
Build relationships with target manufacturing companies
Support the overall organization in its efforts for growth, which can include cross-departmental support
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Experience
1-2 years in business development, membership development, or a sales role
Understanding of B2B selling
Knowledge or training in sales methodology (Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, etc.) preferred
Experience in working with lead generation, CRM, or sales automation tools a plus
Experience in selling services or membership a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate and interact with senior-level management
Manage multiple opportunities and leads within a sales pipeline
Comfortable selling solutions rather than a series of benefits and features
Coachable and winning attitude
Creative thinker, able to formulate new ways to capture new business opportunities
Self Motivated with a goal-orientated mindset
Develop a deep understanding of the Manufacturers Alliance's core value and products
Working Conditions
Fully remote work environment with occasional face-to-face meetings and gatherings
Travel is required approximately 10-15% of the time
