Association Forum has an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader in Education and Content! This position will lead the Education team in providing timely, relevant, and innovative learning programs for Association Forum, including but not limited to our annual Signature Events. The Director, Education and Content ensures the successful design, delivery, management, and evaluation of the Forum’s educational products and events.

The Director, Education and Content is responsible in the following areas:
Leadership & Management
- Provides strategic direction and oversight to staff, volunteer committees, and working groups to ensure alignment with the Forum’s content strategy and goals.
- Leads and develops a high-performing team of internal and external event professionals.
- Collaborates with the Marketing team to create persuasive organizational and value proposition messages for all personas; implements the strategic and tactical promotion of events to key member audiences via print, direct mail, and web-based methods of marketing.
Events
- Directs the development, implementation and evaluation of event planning. Oversees the development and execution of all event-related projects.
- Applies new thinking and innovative strategies to help reimagine Signature Events and education programs to better support the needs of current and future association professionals.
- Manages pre- and post- event analytics, including registration, engagement, cost, benefits and attendee feedback with support of Education Coordinator.
- Manages revenue and expenses for all education assets related to these signature events.
Content
- Collaborates with Association Forum’s staff and leadership to identify opportunities to expand digital footprint in alignment with content strategy.
- Manages the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Manages pre- and post-digital event analytics, including registration, engagement, cost, benefits and attendee feedback with support of Education Coordinator.
- Collaborates with senior staff and vendors to manage revenue and expenses for digital assets.

Experience for success as the Director, Education and Content:
- 7-10 years related experience in an Association or non-profit environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- MA of education or non-profit management and Certified Association Executive (preferred)
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing education events and content
- Experience supervising, leading, and developing staff
- Expert in LMS platforms and learning technology
- Volunteer management experience
