The Education Coordinator is a fully remote position in a small, but awesome organization that values hard work and creativity. The Education Coordinator provides administrative and project support for the annual convention, seminars, content development and the learning management system, elearn.nsh.org. The Coordinator will serve as primary customer support for registrations and the CE provider program. In addition, the Coordinator will support the editorial process for all marketing efforts for face to face meetings, distance learning & education resources.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Answer phones, providing timely and friendly customer/member service.
Provide customer service and support to education/event registrants, responding to calls and emails within one business day.
Monitor and respond/disseminate customer/member queries via firstname.lastname@example.org to the appropriate staff as necessary.
Produce weekly/monthly registration reports including maintaining the Meetings & Education KPI Dashboards
Download eShow batch reports and corresponding Paya batch reports, code and save to the shared drive
Process accounts payable for the CE Provider program
Laboratory Webinar Program
Set up the webinar programs as events in ClearVantage including the online microsites and listings on the nsh.org events calendar
Process incoming registrations, the associated correspondence and registrant inquiries for webinars
Set up webinars in Zoom each month
Communicate webinar access for live and on demand to all registrants
Submit monthly webinar to CE Broker and track for PACE documentation
Assists Director of Education with webinar life cycle – live, archived access, placement for sale on elearn.nsh.org and conversion to a free member resource
Assist Director of Education with the administration of the CE Provider program including:
the processing of incoming provider applications, including the preparation of forms and invoices
tracking the return of approved provider required paperwork,
conducting audits of self-reported hours in approved events
assisting customers with the maintenance of their contact hour portal record including updating of information, entering of hours and printing of certificates
Enter NSH event attendee recorded hours into the CE Tracker
Process incoming registrations, the associated correspondence and registrant inquiries for live events
Assist in the setting up of events in event software, ClearVantage and eShow
Create onsite materials for small live events including badges, sign in sheets and meeting signs
Coordinate requests for convention volunteers.
Staff the onsite registration desk for the annual convention including overseeing of the volunteers, collection of money and liaising with eShow onsite registration staff
Motivate committee and volunteers.

As assigned by the Director of Education and the NSH Deputy Director
Exempt position. NSH’s core office hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Currently, the office closes at 3:00 pm on Friday and may change at the Executive Director’s discretion.
NSH is a fully remote organization, and all employees are accountable for on-time and quality outcomes measured against annual objectives tracked in Asana, a project management app.
Some travel will be required, including attending our annual meeting
NSH provides computer equipment, peripherals, and a printer/copier/scanner.
The position reports to the Director of Education.
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Strong customer service and analytical skills
Ability to effectively work and handle numerous tasks, matters, issues, and assignments
Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision in a virtual environment
Ability to travel to in person events within the continental United States when required
Knowledge of event, webinar and learning management software
Strong Personal Computer (PC) skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet research experience, a basic knowledge of any Content Management System (CMS) and basic PC troubleshooting.
