What we're looking for: We are seeking a talented individual responsible for editing and production of manuscripts for Radiology and other journals produced by RSNA.

What you'll do:
Copyedit manuscripts accepted for publication in RSNA journals to be produced in print and online
Meet regularly with supervisor to receive and incorporate feedback on all assigned manuscripts
Maintain production schedules
Proofread text and tabular material and perform quality control on images as necessary
Work with authors, supervisor, Assistant Managing Editor, Managing Editor, and production staff on alterations
Communicate regularly with manuscript editors and work with online journal and production personnel to ensure timely processing of journal materials; work with other RSNA staff on publishing projects as assigned
Work with authors and occasionally with vendors producing RSNA journal material
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years prior experience copyediting required, preferably for a medical publication
Proficiency in Word required
Ability to master online editing and proofreading tools
Comfort with biomedical terminology and concepts
Strong decision-making skills and problem-solving skills
Comfort with working in teams
Track record of meeting deadlines
