The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) is an industry-leading organization comprised of 2,000 professionals who focus on the business of radiology. RBMA members support diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology and radiation oncology providers in the full spectrum of practice settings. RBMA connects members nationwide to valuable information, education and practice-related resources and serves as an authoritative industry voice on behalf of shared member interests.
The Meetings & Membership Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the membership and meetings departments with the development, implementation and management of RBMA’s initiatives, strategic goals and objectives.
Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Attendee registration support to include customer service, invoicing and distributing electronic confirmation letters.
Exhibitor registration support to include data assembly for booth assignments, creation of task assignments in the exhibitor management system, invoicing and issuing booth assignment confirmations.
Manage tradeshow and meetings’ shipments alongside the Education Coordinator.
Assist in creation and printing of onsite meeting collateral.
Assist with the meetings mobile app build to include data assembly and upload.
Assist in assembly and maintenance of meetings google sheet resource worksheets and forms.
Work alongside the Education Coordinator to upload and update content for the meeting attendee resource pages.
Attends (as assigned) and assists in the onsite staff duties of educational seminars and conferences.
Answers “Member Services” phone line - Primary customer service agent and gatekeeper for all inquiries.
Serve as the point person for membership inquiries. Track and engage prospective members.
Coordinates the Free Trial program.
Provide superior customer service to current and potential members including prompt resolution to member issues and needs.
Keep an accurate member database – clean records, error-free and duplicate-free. Pull reports as requested.
Maintain several sections of the RBMA website ensuring clearly communicated benefits of membership and ease of use for the member.
Coordinates volunteer call-a-thon activities.
Assist Membership & Members’ Services Manager in managing Connect RBMA
Monitor/implement website updates.
Assist in extracting mailing lists from the database and cleanup by deduping and/or culling lists based on intended target audience.
Supports the overall mission of the RBMA by performing other duties as assigned.
General phone coverage.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience required.
A minimum of two years administrative experience – preferably in a medical/healthcare association environment.
Experience working from home productively and effectively.
Strong attention to detail while keeping the overall goal(s) of a project in mind.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Excellent, articulate, personable and diplomatic customer service skills.
Possess a positive, team-player attitude.
Familiarity with iMIS Member Database, or similar association management software
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Proficient with Google docs.
Designated in-home workspace. Individual may be called upon to lift boxes up to 25 lbs in weight. Some travel within the United States required.
