Provide high-level administrative coordination and support to the COO and executive team. Must be able to take direction well and execute tasks and manage projects efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. Must be a team-player and have the ability to adapt to fast-paced environment. Must possess the skill-set necessary to prioritize projects and multi-task with a can-do attitude.
Providing general administrative office support to executive level managers

Sharing main line phone coverage duties
Providing a wide range of project assistance to executive management and other team members.
General office administrative support duties including managing/updating key Outlook contact folders, creating and editing correspondence, documents, presentations, talking points, internal memoranda, briefing materials, and internal read-ahead materials.
General Foundation administrative support duties, including creating and editing correspondence, documents, presentations, talking points, briefing materials, internal read-ahead materials. Activities may include fundraising solicitations and donor correspondence, among others.
Completing expense reports and making travel arrangements, occasionally on short notice
Prioritizing, organizing workloads and assignments with minimal supervision
Providing assistance and support and follow-through to the Institute’s membership
Other related duties may be required and other responsibilities may be assigned.
Coordinate special projects with Manager, Executive Office & Board Administration and President, Foundation for Meat & Poultry Research, and the Chief Operating Officer.
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree required in related field preferred; excellent organizational, writing, editing and proofreading skills; excellent grammar and communication skills; must have 1-2 years trade association experience; proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
