The Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) is seeking an Assistant Director of Labor and Legal Services to help provide legal and labor relations services to MASB membership to assist with member legal and labor questions and activities. The optimal candidate will have a Juris Doctor and completed the Michigan Bar exam. A knowledge of Michigan school-related statutes, rules, regulations, and labor law is preferred. A preliminary salary wage range of $75,000 - $85,000 has been established; compensation commensurate with experience. Full benefit and 401(k) package. A Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school, and completion / planned completion of the Michigan Bar Exam within the next 12 months are required.
