ICF Director of Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Justice (Remote USA)

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the largest resource for business and personal coaches, representing more than 40,000 members and 25,0000 credential holders. ICF supports and preserves the integrity of coaching through standards supported by the individual membership.
The Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Justice will lead ICF’s global effort to support development and implementation of a comprehensive program that is focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) within the professional coaching industry. In this role, you will work collaboratively across all ICF family organizations and departments to develop programs, education, and desired outcomes in support of ICF’s Statement of Diversity and Inclusion.
Serve as a primary staff leader, along with volunteer leaders, on development and execution of the ICF DEIJ’s action plan and implementation.
Support the development and implementation of DEIJ policies and practices across the ONE ICF.
Build DEIJ engagement, knowledge, and capacity within ICF at all levels.
Communicate DEIJ priorities, action plans, and progress made to broad audiences including Board members.
Serves as point person for all DEIJ related content, both internally and for member facing publications.
Conducts presentations on diversity, equity, and inclusion including holistic review workshops and other related topics.
RESEARCH & EDUCATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate lifting of stories and sharing best practices related to successful DEIJ interventions and practices for the coaching profession.
Drafts, research, and prepare assessment tools, reports, articles, presentation, and other materials related to diversity, equity, and inclusion that are consistent with the diversity strategic framework.
Develop prototypes of new products (e.g., dashboards, toolkits, scorecards), and manage pilot projects to test and refine those products.
Keeps abreast of best practices and current trends in diversity and inclusion, bringing that knowledge to inform program and policy development work.
STRATEGIC PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBLITES
Support strategic development of specific and measurable goals, key performance indicators, and an accountability system on which to gauge progress.
Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to facilitate professional development plans for ICF.
Serve as an liaison in facilitating implementation of DEIJ principles and policies within their activities and goals.
Develops the overall learning strategies for the organization, including a yearly plan for leaders and employees while ensuring timely implementation, facilitating as needed.

Undergraduate degree and a minimum of five years of management experience with the ability to set priorities, take initiative, and manage multiple projects on time.
Experience leading and supporting change management initiatives to support an inclusive culture.
Experience managing and working with volunteers.
Experience working with a remote global team and proven ability to communicate effectively to a globally diverse audience.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to plan and prioritize work.
Ability to remain flexible and adaptive to changes in work environment.
