The Membership Engagement Coordinator works with the Manager of Membership Programs and SLDOs and the Senior Director, Membership to support the work of the Membership Department. The individual will have frequent contact with members and will assist in implementing membership acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts, in addition to supporting the organization's relationships with the state and local defense organizations (SLDOs).
Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:?
Membership Acquisition, Engagement & Retention
Coordinate timely, accurate implementation of member welcome and renewal reminder emails and member mailings
Coordinate Renewal and Engagement Series Communications thru Informz email marketing system
Support outreach to pending renewals, dropped members, and prospective members
Support development and implementation of membership recruitment, engagement, and retention campaigns
Support Senior Director in running monthly membership reports and advocate reports as requested
Support membership data initiatives including research/updating of member contact information
Prepare membership materials for DRI seminars
Serve as a back-up in answering the main phone line and inbox, addressing or directing member inquiries to the appropriate DRI contact or department
Serve as an expert and provide member support on the DRI Lawyers Membership App
Works with all internal departments and numerous volunteers, including Regional Directors, the DRI Membership Committee and State Representatives.
SLDO (State & Local Defense Organization) Support
Support planning efforts for DRI Regional Meetings
Support planning and coordination of monthly region calls
Prepare membership materials for SLDO/Regional meetings
Provide administrative support of SLDO activities, updating SLDO rosters, tracking of SLDO Annual Meetings and EPA awards

Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite including – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn AMS database (iMIS experience a plus)
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
Two to four years of experience preferably at a non-profit membership association or similar organization.
