Responsible for management of the Association’s membership database and support other technology needs of the MRLA staff.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the Association’s databases
Maintains database software and upgrades
Develops and maintains custom applications, reports and dashboards within database system to support daily operations of the staff
Ensures and maintains validity and accuracy of the Association’s data and records
Creates and manages database reports, dashboards and new applications as requested and as needs and changes arise during daily Association operations
Supports database interface for users
Serves as liaison with database host and vendor.
Work with vendor to develop solutions for more complex modifications.
Assists with content management of the Association’s websites using Weebly and Joomla
Works with Marketing Department to manages the content of the websites, including text, graphics, forms, links, calendars and navigation
Loads completed content, including articles, information, press releases, industry and Association news and statistics, etc.
Reviews and reports on website traffic and analytics using Google Analytics, Google AdWords and other analytical tools; develops methods and works with outside advisors to improve site visibility and appearance on search engines.
Serve as liaison to outside vendors that support Associations IT infrastructure and systems.
Provides help desk support to staff and other users
Assists users with workstation hardware and software problems
Provides multi-media support to users for presentations
Provides training to new employees on Association systems and software
Manages the associations IT Network Infrastructure
Manages servers, both onsite and offsite, for functionality and stability
Assures systems are secure and protected from compromise
Ensures all equipment is up to date and patched accordingly
Develops and plans for upgrades and expansions for the Association
Network items include, but are not limited to: Servers, Firewalls, Switches/Routers, Internet connection, Wireless Internet, Desk phones, Copy Machines/Printers, other office equipment, staff user login accounts, etc.
Provides IT materials for Association events as requested
Assists Vice President, Finance & Administration with building maintenance oversight as directed.
Hands-on, technical experience with Association Management Systems preferably Atlas (a Member Clicks/Personify product). Also, other software specific to department use such as Constant Contact, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics GP, etc. with Trade Association or Professional Society nonprofit organizations (with an emphasis on Membership Management). Knowledge of stored procedures and views is required. Knowledge of core business applications, such as AMS/CRM, Financial Management Systems, and internet-based technologies.
Experience with the following technologies:
Business Objects Crystal Reports
Microsoft Visual Studio
Familiarity with SSO, API’s and Web Services a plus
Experience with data analysis and information architecture
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
General understanding of information technology network design and operations
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills and be detail oriented.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience is preferred. A minimum of three to five years of experience is required for the purpose of aligning business needs with technology in a Microsoft SQL and .NET environment

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work will be performed indoors in a generally comfortable office environment. Employees must possess the following physical requirements:
Able to communicate with staff on a telephone, and hear and speak clearly to members and others served “in person”
Has vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, forms, and other communications with or without corrective lenses.
Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Able to reach above shoulder level to work, as well as bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn, finger and feel.
Must have ability to travel out-of-town for periods which may be extended, using private or commercial transportation and staying in public accommodations.
Must have the physical ability to attend meetings, conventions and other events, which may be held in large convention facilities with various accessibility, and maneuver through such facilities to perform a broad variety of duties.
MRLA is currently working partially remote with migration to more in office time increasing slowly.
