The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) is a national medical specialty organization with over 6,400 dermatologist members. Located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, ASDS supports its dermatologist members through educational opportunities, networking forums, mentoring programs, public relations and branding initiatives, leadership activities and advocacy efforts (through ASDSA).

The Education & Meetings Coordinator works within the Education & Meetings Department with the Director of Education & Meetings, Education Manager, Education Programs Manager and Meetings Manager. Reports to the Director of Education and Meetings.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program management and faculty management; Responsible for faculty management for all educational programs, including invitations, communications and follow-up. Secures commercial relationship disclosures, recording consents, program objectives, handouts, releases and travel requirements, as needed.
Manages the Annual Meeting scientific abstract submission and selection process, including communications, database maintenance and necessary updates, submission queries, reviewer registration, reports, and necessary exports.
Prepares and assembles all Annual Meeting Work Group meeting materials to include preparation of agendas and taking minutes.
Prepares contentfor Annual Meeting Mobile App including but not limited to educational program data, schedule and speaker data imports.
Prepares content for Annual Meeting Virtual Platform including but not limited to educational program data, schedule and speaker data imports.
Compiles all program evaluations and necessary documentation for all education activities.
Assists with webinars and online courses, including those on a LMS (learning management system).
Supports the development of other e-learning offerings including format, content and faculty recommendations, production and testing.
Assists with all recordkeeping for ACCME activity files and PARS reporting process, ensuring documents are current and filed appropriately.
Serves as the main point of contact for all incoming phone calls and emails relating to the department, including verification of CME requests.
Supports the development of the Society’s Educational Exchange Programs, including the Resident Preceptorship and International Preceptorship Programs.
Support for regional courses (logistics, planning, registration).
Coordinate all the packing and unpacking of course materials.
Provides on-site support for the Annual Meeting.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.

Additional Salary Information: This is a coordinator-level position within the organization and the salary range is commensurate with three to five years of education and meetings experience. This is an exempt position.
