The Manager, Engagement is responsible for the coordination and operation of SEPA’s Working Groups, online learning courses, and executive forums. They work with the Director to create a positive member, volunteer, and stakeholder experience by ensuring relationships are nurtured. As the manager of the platforms for SEPA Working Groups and online learning, they support adoption and growth of these platforms and serves as the internal expert.
Responsibilities and Key Impact Areas
Manages and organizes all content and archives for SEPA communities in an easy to navigate knowledge base
Oversees the groups platform(s) and webpages, developing efficiencies, problem solving and exploring new technologies, tools and resources to improve the operation and outcome of the communities
Works closely within the team of teams environment to coordinate content management, site moderation, engagement strategies, and analytics
Oversee all technical aspects of the online community, including working with the vendor to address, resolve, and communicate issues related to the features and functionality of the platform
Provides support as related to the online community for technical issues and assists staff and members to resolve their issues
Develop and maintain community and platform training resources, guidelines, and policies for internal and external users
Implements and manages the community calendar for the year across groups
Ensures member lists and contacts are up to date and works with I/T and data analyst to ensure that information is accessible in SalesForce and is correct
Reviews and consults on any proposed changes to the online platforms and sites
Monitors and measures the success of community engagement and provides updates as needed to help identify trends and report on KPIs
Responsible for all operational tasks related to technology and event platforms set-up including testing, registration, configuration, integrations, and importing and testing content and systems for online learning classes and boot camps
Serves as the project manager of all SEPA working groups, including:
Scheduling and setting up meetings
Assisting in the preparation and distribution of meeting materials and minutes
Supporting project needs
Reporting on metrics
Maintaining lists of participants in the SEPA database
Verifying the platform and meeting participants are members in good standing with SEPA.
Provides a wide range of administrative support functions related to the work of online communities and online learning.
Develops templates relating to communities and online education and tracks completion
Create presentation materials and communications
Project manager for newsletters and report publications for SEPA Groups
Other task as assigned
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience coordinating groups of industry professionals
Experience with project management
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Experience with SalesForce and Higher Logic or other community and event platforms preferred
Experience with Google platform including Drive, Mail, & Apps
