The Appraisal Institute is seeking a Compliance Administrator, State Certification with strong organizational, project management and persuasive people skills to lead our State Certification Team. The qualified candidate will lead a staff of two and ensure process compliance related to federal and state certification submissions for our members. For additional information, please visit us at www.AppraisalInstitute.org WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Collaborate with State boards to assist with interpretation and explanation of federal guidelines to ensure that the Appraisal Institute education programs meet requirements and standards
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with members of the Education Committee, the Appraisal Foundation, the Appraisal Qualifications Board, the Appraisal Standards Board, the Appraisal Subcommittee, Association of Appraisal Regulatory Officials, IDECC and state regulatory boards, chapter leaders, board members to ensure that various stakeholders of the Appraisal Institute are informed about state legislation. Attend industry related meetings to foster relationships and represent the organization via speaking engagements as requested
- Collaborate with the Government Relations Team and local chapter leadership to propose changes to State agencies that advance Appraisal Institute interests, as well as the interests of the appraisal profession. Communicate with State agencies, to include participation in their conferences and meetings, to inform and persuade their decisions
- Research and maintain current knowledge of State legislation and regulations of the appraisal profession
- In pursual of the AI State Certification Compliance Plan, ensure State certification approval and renewals of courses, seminars, online programs, live-online programs, AI conferences and other collaborative conferences
- Assist in the selection of, train, guide development and manage performance of staff. Act as a role model, assist and contribute to development of staff in education departments and across the organization
- Prepare and monitor State certification annual budget.
