The Federal Laboratory Consortium (FLC) for technology transfer is composed of more than 300 federal laboratories, each of which is represented by Agency Representatives and Laboratory Representatives; and is a quasi-governmental agency officially created by the U.S. Congress in Public Law 99-502, the Federal Technology Transfer Act, as codified in 15 U.S.C. §3710(e).
FLC is run by its cooperative partner, AUTM. AUTM is the nonprofit leader in efforts to educate, promote and inspire professionals to support the development of academic research that changes the world and drives innovation forward through technology transfer
