Position Summary Reporting to the Director, Education & Meetings, the Senior Manager is responsible for CHPA’s educational program content for all immersions, ad hoc seminars, and webinars and assists the Director, Meetings & Education with all other CHPA conferences. The Senior Manager develops, curates and executes educational program content by coordinating with staff, industry thought leaders, and member committees; expanding relationships with other associations; and understanding relevant consumer healthcare industry issues. The incumbent contacts and arranges for services of speakers from government, industry and other establishments; researches and develops new educational program ideas; analyzes the competitive landscape; and conducts evaluations of all education programs for program impact and relevance, best practices and effective marketing strategies. Essential Functions - In conjunction with CHPA senior staff and designated committees, the incumbent plans, develops, and executes education programming, CHPA Academy and webinars.
- Manages event program committees.
- Serve as primary liaison to the RSQ and Marketing Conference committees.
- Works with SVP, Business Development & Industry Relations to manage Retail Liaison Committee and programming for immersions, as well as President’s Forum and programming for President’s Forum events.
- Carries out a variety of duties for assigned educational programs, including:

- Plans, develops, and executes educational content.
- Confers with CHPA senior staff and committees to determine scope of programs and speakers.
- Contacts and arranges for services of speakers and lecturers from government, industry, and other organizations.
- Develops program objectives and writes session descriptions while conferring with staff leads, committee members, and speakers.
- Manages production of conference, immersion, and webinar materials.
- Oversees speaker logistics including speaker agreements, bio and headshot requests, registration, housing, and waiver and release for presentations.
- Contacts and arranges for services of speakers from speaker bureaus.
- Evaluates education program effectiveness to identifies possible revenue enhancements and/or cost savings.
- Provides staff moderator scripts (when needed).
- Collaborates with Senior Manager, Meetings and Director, Marketing and Communications on production schedules and marketing strategy related to conferences, immersions, and webinars, including the development and maintenance of critical path for all events within scope of responsibility.
- Reviews marketing copy to ensure it is consistent with the program objectives.
- Responsible for speaker presentations being posted to the CHPA website in conjunction with Director, Marketing and Communications.
- Prepares and manages budgets for CHPA Academy and webinars, with support from Director, Education & Meetings and SVP, Business Development & Industry Relations. Manages speaker budgets for RSQ, immersions and other educational offerings.
- Aids Director, Education & Meetings on all other educational programming for CHPA meetings as needed, including the Annual Executive, and other meetings on online engagement as needed.
