The Business Solutions and Database Manager is responsible for providing high-level business solutions/IT and database management support for a variety of association activities.
Business Solutions/Information Technology
Provides high-level support for IT business solutions, makes recommendations for software to optimize organizational efficiency and staff success.
Serves as back up to IT Director providing strong user support to association employees, and works with IT Director to implement training for staff on ongoing and regular basis.
Administers online fax and videoconferencing services. Serves as central contact for staff cell phone and iPad support.
Supports audio visual and laptop needs for association conferences. Provides on-site IT and AV support at DC based conferences, including management of voting through Turning Technology and onsite TechBar.
Provides support for IT Director on special projects as requested.
Assumes leadership responsibility for the ClearVantage (CV) the Association Management System (AMS).
As the CV expert, work with staff across the association to ensure needed functionality, reporting and processes are in place to support association operations.
Troubleshoot and address issues with quality control, data input, renewals, invoicing, events, future integrations and online community.
Provides support for all conference and events to include creating packages, registration, invoicing or member data issues.
Creates complex database queries and reports as requested to meet business needs.
Creates new communities upon request, and addresses any synch or member profile issues in Higher Logic.
Requirements and Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, business management or technology focus preferred.
At least three years of experience in information technology. Database ClearVantage experience a plus.
Additional qualifications include attention to detail, strong problem-solving and project management skills, with ability to manage concurrent projects. Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audience.
