What you'll do:
Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the business organization as a member of the senior management team. Provide technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level.
Lead the development of strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing development initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future software systems across the organization.
Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities, including government, vendors, committees and partner organizations.
Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures, policies, and standards are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to software development, ETL development, and quality assurance teams.
Provide deep understanding of technology industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices, and uses that knowledge to recommend new tools and technologies.
Demonstrate excellent leadership skills to build a cohesive and service-centric team, open and agile mind-set to lead the team to meet RSNA business needs and be capable of making judgment calls and setting priorities necessary to achieve business objectives.

What you'll need:
Technical BS degree, Computer Science, Engineering or Math background highly desired, MBA optional.
Experience in leading technical teams for Enterprise Software and Digital Services development and integration.
Minimum fifteen plus years' experience in IT industry throughout entire Software Development Life Cycle.
Comfort leading in an Agile/Scrum environment
Demonstrated ability to set technology direction and oversee successful delivery and/or support of technology solutions.
Strong analytical skills and ability to critically assess architectural decisions.
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Experience working with large project delivery teams that include project managers, business analysts, quality assurance and operations/infrastructure.
Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
Capability to make judgment calls and prioritize as necessary to achieve business objective.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor development leaders.
Experience in managing remote teams and vendors.
Experience with cloud environment Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus.
Experience with API framework and mobile first development is desired.
Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
