TGA’s current Executive Director (ED) will be retiring end of June 2019; therefore, TGA is seeking a replacement candidate to begin work in May 2019 to allow overlap of duties for learning and a smooth transition. In this position, a successful ED will display leadership, direction, support, and coordination for TGA, its Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and other Committees according to the current goals, objectives, and bylaws of the association. The ED will be responsible for developing and evaluating programs, policies, methods and procedures regarding the management and organization of the association. The ED will also be responsible for the management of TGA personnel. The ED ensures administrative activities for budgeting, committee management and meeting coordination are complete and appropriate. The ED provides written and verbal reports to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to provide status updates of tasks, projects, and financial position.

Physical Demands: Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
