The American College of Radiology, the leading membership and advocacy organization for the radiology profession, seeks a Chapter and Member Engagement Representative.

This individual will provide support to the Department of Governance and Member Engagement while overseeing critical activities within the areas of governance, member and chapter services. This position will engage directly with staff, volunteers, and leaders to provide customer service and support for a variety of projects and programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain electronic chapter records,
• Coordinate chapter visitation program,
• Administer the annual chapter recognition program,
• Manage the development and distribution of a monthly chapter newsletter,
• Serve as lead staff for two ACR committees,
• Develop content for electronic and print communications,
• Facilitate communication and relationship development for ACR chapters,
• Identify current trends, resources and assistance needed by chapters,
• Maintain web content, supporting governance, chapter, and annual meeting activities,
• Respond to member and staff inquiries,
• Improve efficiency in the department through organizational and electronic means,
• Meeting coordination, developing and maintaining resource materials,
• Provide administrative support to Governance and Member Engagement staff.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 3 years of association/nonprofit experience
• Customer-service focus
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task projects
• Computer savvy and willing to embrace and use technology; experience with association management systems and content management systems highly desired
• Strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to perform as a self-starter and take initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
