A great opportunity for a growth-oriented individual seeking to positively impact a global profession. This critical role interacts with sponsors, global chapter leaders, vendors, and internal staff to ensure that all sponsored events run smoothly and meet the needs of attendees and sponsors. This role also leads internal project management efforts, keeping corporate clients, internal staff and vendors on target and on budget on a variety of projects and deliverables.
Coordinate calls between sponsor, staff, and volunteers
Lead event planning process, including catering, venue and presenter arrangements and expenses, app needs, and budget management
Obtain presenter bios and sponsor logos, post event details and presentations online
Send event invitations, track responses, and update all parties as to progress
Create and ship materials for events
Set up surveys, manage survey data
Advise and assist chapter volunteers and sponsors in every aspect of the event
Provide on-site event management for global events
Manage a variety of internal projects that integrate multiple departments and deliverables
Track timelines, budget, and process
Report out to internal team regularly, conduct meetings as needed
Conduct a project review at the end of the project
Seek and implement processes that streamline work flow Competencies
Experience with event planning and management
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent writing, communications, and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills for on-time, on-budget delivery
Telecommuting is allowed.
