As an employee of one of the premier REALTOR® Associations in the country, and a member of the NVAR Professional Services team, this position plays an integral administrative role in supporting, coordinating, and facilitating the Association’s dispute resolution services.
On a daily basis, the Professional Services Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the entire Professional Standards process of paperwork administration, notifications, internal and external correspondence, and maintenance of confidential case files is done in a timely and efficient manner according to the policies and procedures set forth by the National Association of REALTORS® and NVAR.
Facilitates established ethics complaint and arbitration claim procedures
Acts as an Ambassador for the REALTOR® Code of Ethics when speaking to members of the Association and members of the general public and is at the front line of explaining the dispute resolution services offered by NVAR.
Independently facilitates the day-to-day processes as required, while working with the head of the NVAR Professional Services Department.
Makes hearing arrangements and keeps exacting and detailed records on all related Professional Standards matters.
College Degree or equivalent work experience
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Professional Standards Administrator Certification (provided by NVAR)
Virginia Notary Public (provided by NVAR)
Five to seven years administrative experience
Requires a high level of attention to detail.
Requires the ability to prioritize and multitask in a challenging work environment in which meeting deadlines is paramount
Requires proficiency in Microsoft applications and Adobe Acrobat
