NACHA—The Electronic Payments Association is a nonprofit organization based in Herndon, Virginia. NACHA facilitates the evolution and use of electronic payments by providing rules and standards leadership through its education, advocacy, inclusive engagement and dialogue. The Manager, Member Engagement is responsible for providing sales, retention, database, website and other administrative support to the Member Engagement area of NACHA Association Services. This position reports directly to the Director, Member Engagement.
Primary Organizational Objectives
To provide timely, responsive and high-quality internal/external customer service.
To ensure the accuracy, timeliness and quality of database and website updates.
To support technology tools and processes that enable NACHA to deliver greater value and differentiated support to Direct Member organizations.
To provide administrative and CRM support for membership program prospecting and recruitment/sales efforts, and Direct Member relationship management activities.
Ensure the accuracy and consistency of company-level database records globally, and the company and individual-level accuracy of database records and Outlook distribution groups of Direct Members and Affiliate Program members.
Assist in new member prospecting, upselling and other member outreach activities for NACHA Affiliate Program.
Track and respond to membership inquiries. Monitor Membership Inbox.
Create and send Welcome Packet to new Affiliate Program members and schedule onboarding emails.
Generate renewal reminders and monitor renewal payments for Affiliate Program. Send thank you emails to renewing Affiliate members.
Process terminated Affiliate Program and Direct Members as necessary.
Update NACHA’s online Events Calendar to include Direct Member Meetings, RPA Conferences, Industry Events, and Quarterly Rules Update Webinars.
Update and maintain NACHA’s internal Industry Events Calendar and disseminate monthly to NACHA Senior Staff. Collect Event Submission Forms and Evaluation Forms for each event.
Assist with maintenance of Direct Member Exchanges.
Set up registration for Quarterly Rules Update member webinars and disseminate webinar logistics/presentation/recording to NACHA Direct Members, Affiliate Program Members and Payments Innovation Alliance Members.
Provide administrative support for Direct Member Summit.
Submit updates/content for NewsLink. Monitor NewsLink subscription mailbox.
Update Direct Member Contact information in NACHA Operating Rules & Guidelines publication and the ACH Participant Directory.

Possess or acquire proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, NetForum AMS (database) and Drupal-based CMS (website).
College degree or equivalent work experience in a business environment; preference given to candidates with prior marketing or membership experience.
At least 2 years’ experience working in a business environment, non-profit preferred.
