The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) is the American certifying organization for veterinary specialists in cardiology, large animal internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and small animal internal medicine. Our mission is to enhance animal and human health by advancing veterinary internal medicine through training, education, and discovery.
We are hiring a Membership Engagement Specialist to provide volunteer management and support member engagement and retention, awards, committees, and student chapters for the Membership & Communication department.
Association experience required.
Knowledge of/experience with online community communication and software
Motivated to learn new skills and can assimilate new ideas quickly.
Close attention to detail, deadline-driven, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Have robust written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service oriented.
Strong team work ethos, ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with other departments.
Appreciates sharing office space with dogs.
