Arlington based national trade association seeks an energetic team player for an Industry Marketing Coordinator position. This position will be responsible for all aspects of industry communications including event marketing, membership communications, website maintenance and brand continuity.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain an event marketing calendar for all association events.
Manage creation of copy, production and distribution of all association events marketing emails, promotions and collateral.
Source new avenues for event marketing promotion to help grow event attendance.
Maintain historical information relating to event marketing and promotion.
Manage schedule, creation and distribution of regular association newsletters.
Work with association staff to provide submissions and oversee content and quality of all articles.
Manage and maintain association and event websites.
Write and review website content.
Ensure all website content and information is kept up to date.
Continually upgrade and improve content and design.
Work with vendors to keep association website relevant and user friendly.
Strengthen association brand, presence and collateral.
Create scripting for General Sessions, Awards Ceremony, etc.
Support industry relations team with additional duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent written and verbal communications including writing, proofreading and copy editing
Proven track record of planning and managing marketing timelines and programs
Proficient in Constant Contact, PowerPoint and WordPress
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff and vendors
Ability to support multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to think strategically and assist with creation of new association communication initiatives
