IREM is seeking a Director, Customer and Member Services to join our team. This is a highly visible position that plays a lead role in driving membership retention and growth as well as directing and motivating our six-person customer service team to deliver top-notch customer experiences.
Specific responsibilities include:
Identifying strategic and operational issues affecting membership acquisitions and customer engagement; recommending program revisions and enhancements to attain membership goals.
Playing a lead role in member retention and recruitment strategies and initiatives, including the development and execution of communications and campaigns.
Overseeing policies, procedures, and processes for membership applications from receipt of applications through final approvals.
Collaborating with IT staff on the maintenance of the membership database, tracking dues collections, and running membership analysis and statistical reports.
Creating and forecasting program budgets.
Serving as staff liaison to the Membership & Credentialing Committee.
Managing National REALTOR® Database System compliance activities including policies, procedures, and record maintenance.
Managing programs, policies, and procedures for member deletion processes, special membership categories, status changes, and reinstatements.
Managing development/revisions of membership applications, brochures, and handbooks.
The successful candidate will be an innovative and result-driven professional who possess a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional experience) and has a minimum of seven years experience in an association environment. Three years supervisory/team lead experience is also required as is the ability to travel approximately 2 - 5 times per year.
