The Software and Database Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the software used by Industrial Asset Management Council - a global association - to become the subject matter expert on all product features.
The Software and Database Manager will maintain the integrity of the data within the database on an ongoing basis. This includes member and prospective member records. From this database maintenance, this position will perform data analysis and create reports that support all departments of the organization including membership and events.
In addition, this position will work with the overall IAMC team and support other activities which introduces potential members to IAMC, such as the IAMC Forums.
The Software and Database Manager will assist with special projects and other association management duties as assigned.
Oversee the database and maintain accuracy of member and prospective member data
Build reports for all departments of the organization
Manage the creation of Local Events registration within the database
Maintain the Board/Committee assignments
Distribute surveys to members and event attendees. Analyze results to present to the team and Board of Directors.
Build and manage a Knowledge Management System to house organization white papers and other professional development documents
Manage projects related to Forums which require data maintenance
Provide back-up support on front-end website updates
Act as the staff liaison to software support
Provide training to other team members on software capabilities
Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years’ experience in database management
2+ years’ work in association business (preferred)
Basic HTML knowledge (preferred)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Outgoing, charismatic, friendly, trustworthy, and passionate demeanor
Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Quick learner able to “hit the ground running”
Fearless self-learner with adeptness for high tech/software/Internet use
Must possess excellent organization and time management skills
Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
