Position Description This position is responsible for leading the sales effort at the Monroe Convention Center. The position represents the convention center to the public, new and repeat clients and community partners including hotels and public commissions. It is responsible for marketing, creating proposals to potential clients, and communicating details of events to the event management team that then takes over implementation of the event. The Sales Manager oversees the rebooking of the event. The position is responsible for creating and implementing the marketing plan and reporting to the Executive Director.

The Monroe Convention Center located in Bloomington Indiana is a 40,000 square feet meeting and event facility. It is located in downtown Bloomington in the heart of the Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District.
