ASIS International, a professional membership organization located in Alexandria, VA with 35,000 global members has two new openings for Senior Marketing Managers. These positions are responsible for developing and executing all strategic marketing activities for either our major events or membership marketing activities. Primary responsibility for the development and implementation of marketing plans, budgets, and related marketing collateral.
The Senior Marketing Manager for Events will focus on promoting activities related to ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, ASIS NYC Security Conference and Expo, and ASIS Diamond Club Security Buyers Forum. He/she will design strategies to promote and raise awareness of each event to increase attendee registrations. They will also design strategies to promote the benefits of exhibiting and value of sponsorship to industry vendors. Achieve defined budget/attendance goals. Recommend/optimize changes to strategy as needed.
This position will also research and analyze conference data, competitive intelligence, and monitor industry information to identify trends/opportunities. Direct development of all related direct mail pieces, advertising, email communications, video, and web design. Advise on social media content. Develop promotional copy and web content. Generate ideas and manage programs that increase attendee/exhibitor promotion and engagement.
The Senior Marketing Manager for Membership will focus on activities targeted at increasing association membership and renewals, in addition to supporting member engagement efforts and programs related to 34 Councils, the CSO Center, ASIS Foundation, and Government Affairs. He/she will have primary responsibility for the development and implementation of marketing plans, budgets, and related marketing collateral. Achieve defined budget/membership goals.
This position will clearly identify and communicate membership value and benefits. Target messaging for segmented audiences. Monitor emerging markets and industry trends/opportunities to identify opportunities for growth. Direct development of all related direct mail pieces, advertising, email communications, video, and web design. Advise on social media content. Develop promotional copy and web content.
