The Member Services Coordinator position provides administrative support and assistance to the membership department. They serve as the primary point of contact for members and prospective members.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide superior customer service to current and potential members
Provide prompt resolution to member issues and needs via email, phone or letters
Assist with membership recruitment campaign and yearly renewal process
Pull reports from RBMA’s membership system (chapter rosters, first of month reports, email lists, etc.)
Process new member applications, ensuring accurate records in RBMA’s membership system and distribute welcome communications
Member records maintenance – maintain an up-to-date, error-free member database
Administer Forum (Connect RBMA) subscriptions and troubleshoot as necessary when members are experiencing problems
Provide support for the membership recruitment campaigns and other promotional programs as needed
Provide support to RBMA state chapter program, including website updates and survey creation/deployment, as requested
Provide support for yearly projects, such as the Call for Volunteers/Committee Renewal project, Buyers Guide project and other special projects as needed
Assist with updating the website and utilizing social media outlets
Process dues payments
Draft meeting minutes for review and approval
Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience;
Internship experience in a non-profit and/or association setting preferred;
Previous work experience in customer support, database management and/or member services is preferred.
Individual may be called upon to lift boxes up to 25 lbs in weight. Some travel within the United States may be required.
