American Dance Therapy Association seeks Administrative Assistant to work at the Association's Columbia, Maryland office. Ideal for those aspiring to nonprofit or association management positions. Assistant will work with ADTA's Operations Director and its Board of Directors to monitor and implement key strategies related to finance, public image, and member recruitment and retention.
Participating in and developing a range of internal and external processes to meet strategies and improve infrastructure;
Gather data relevant to association needs;
Assisting with all aspects of Association functions,
Assist with social media accounts,
Making and receiving calls.
Some travel required.
Candidate must possess strong writing and communications skills, strong computer skills; strong interpersonal skills, ability to accomplish multiple tasks on a number of concurrent projects; Bachelor's degree preferred, two years of undergraduate study and two years of experience acceptable; and ability to work in a supervised setting as well as independently. Software skills desired: Microsoft Office applications, Acrobat, and QuickBooks.
Hours: approximately 20 per week, some telecommuting possible. Salary information available on request.
