Associate Director, WDDA Industry & Member Engagement -- great opportunity with growing trade association
The Associate Director is responsible for leading the growth initiative of the Window & Door Dealers Alliance (WDDA) within the National Glass Association. WDDA is looking for a dynamic, member-focused, sales-oriented individual who will passionately promote WDDA member interests.
The position reports to the NGA Membership & Marketing Director and is charged with engaging with, and assessing the needs of, WDDA members, and developing and promoting membership products, programs and services for them. The right candidate will work closely with other Association staff to produce Window & Door Dealer Days; an awards program; and the expedited launch of dealer-focused online education and training.

Trade association membership management experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher
At least five (5) years of progressively responsible association management experience with emphasis on member engagement, communities and member recruitment
Experience working with committees and volunteers
Sales experience preferred
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
Willing and able to travel (up to 40%) to meet members and recruit prospective members and suppliers
Must be personable and like to interact in a sales capacity for membership
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style
Proficient critical thinking skills, and the ability to use decisive reasoning to determine the best course of action in research
Proficient in technical skills and ability to use online and computer technologies to research and record information and data. Ability to learn new software to perform essential functions.
Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision
Must be organized and effective in time management
