Responsible for communicating with IADR/AADR volunteer leaders, members and prospective members about IADR/AADR membership benefits and meetings and events. Provides dedicated support for membership and meetings (both pre-registration and onsite). Must be customer service oriented and comfortable managing a complex workload. IADR/AADR is seeking a candidate with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using an Association Management System (AMS) or database. This position is designated as management-level “exempt” under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Membership Value.
Duties & Responsibilities
As part of Meetings, Membership and Marketing Department team, routinely respond to and provide assistance in regard to membership, meeting registration and general customer service inquiries.
Membership and Marketing duties include (but are not limited to):
Send prospective members information on IADR/AADR membership.
Monitor Member Services and Membership email folders and respond to inquiries.
Process membership payments and refunds.
Under direction from the Senior Manager, Membership Value, coordinate annual membership print and email invoicing process.
With assistance from data entry vendor, manage automatic membership renewal program.
Review batches from data entry vendor for accuracy, create daily reports for online payments, and submit payments to Finance on a monthly basis.
Update database records, as necessary.
Meetings duties include (but are not limited to):
Provide information for inquiries about IADR/AADR meetings and events.
Monitor Registration email folder and respond to inquiries.
Process meeting registration payments and refunds.
Manage printing and mailing of letters of invitations for meeting attendees.
Manage entry of meeting registrations and provide invitation letters to speakers, award and competition participants and other designated VIPs/Special Guests.
Work with Senior Manager, Publications and Abstracts, to manage the English Language Assistance Program (ELAP) for abstract submission for IADR/AADR meetings.
Work with Senior Manager, Membership Value and Senior Manager, Publications and Abstracts, to monitor meeting registration for presenters.
Assist Senior Manager, Membership Value, in programming events in database for online meeting registration.
Provide onsite registration support during IADR/AADR meetings and events.
Deliver exemplary customer service to members, meeting attendees, vendors and other staff members.
Other duties as required.

Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of 2-3 years work experience, preferably in an Association
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficiency with Association Management Systems (AMS), databases and/or data management
Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office
Display a high level of detail and accuracy
Ability to travel 2-3 times per year (10% internationally)
