USDEC represents the companies and people who export U.S.-made dairy products around the world. We promote U.S. dairy internationally on behalf of our more than 120 member organizations. Based in Arlington, Virginia, adjacent to Washington, D.C., the nonprofit membership association has 30 employees in addition to international representatives in Mexico, Brazil, China, Japan, Lebanon, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, South Korea and Belgium.
Description: National dairy trade association has a challenging position for a candidate to provide technical assistance on dairy exporting requirements to association members. Seeking a proven self-starter to help maintain the international trade reference database containing tariffs, import requirements, compositional standards and labeling requirements for dairy products in countries worldwide. The candidate will also support the organization’s efforts to resolve non-tariff trade barriers.

Candidate should have a BA in international affairs, economics, business or a related field and at least five years (preferred) work experience in regulatory and/or international trade matters. Must have strong organizational and communication skills and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Foreign language skills preferred.
