General Summary of Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Vice President, Membership & Education, the Digital Content Strategist is responsible for oversight and execution of Forum’s digital content assets including webinars, Learning Management System (LMS), mobile app, online communities and supporting organizational digital needs. This position serves a prominent role in Association Forum’s efforts to extend the Forum brand.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with Association Forum’s staff leadership to identify opportunities to expand digital footprint in alignment with content strategy. Collaborate with the Director, Brand Experience and the marketing team to achieve this goal.
Implement and execute all digital content strategies leveraging all vehicles including webinars, 365-mobile app, social media, website and MyForum online community.
Manage participation, support and training on digital engagement tools and platforms.
Coordinate all speaker communications and logistics pre, during and post digital education events.
Monitor all digital analytics and recommend strategies to boost digital presence. Ensure that content decisions are data-driven and customer-focused.
Manage pre- and post-digital event analytics, including registration, engagement, cost, benefits and attendee feedback.
Responsible for managing the Learning Management System (LMS) for Association Forum. This includes executing a Request for Proposal for a new platform, assisting in the identification of the LMS, overseeing launch, training, and integration. Long-term, this includes all training and support for internal and external customers, delivery of digital content, monitoring and tracking.
Oversee revenue and expenses for all digital assets.
Oversee relationships with providers for the LMS and mobile app.
Maintain business continuity through documentation of processes and contracts.
Gain exposure to relevant industry trends: participate in competitor events to assess effective ideas, gaining market knowledge for making informed recommendations and incorporating leading edge practices.
Provide end user support via phone and email.
Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Credentials (years of experience): Minimum of 2 years practical experience in digital and/or online events, including both development strategies and production/execution
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Fluent in all aspects of digital and/or online events, including familiarity with association Learning Management Systems
HTML fluency a plus
Working knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
Digital certification(s) preferred
Demonstrated project management skilss with colleagues at all organizational levels and external vendors
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and interact with diverse project teams
Ability to multi-task and provide effective management of projects in a fast-paced environment
Superior time-management and detail orientation skills
