CUNA is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill the position of User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Designer within the Marketing and Digital team at CUNA. The UI/UX Designer reports directly to the Digital Strategy Manager. This position is responsible for the overall design, layout and functionality of CUNA’s digital properties, as well as ensuring the ongoing practical and creative quality of user interface and user experience.

Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development.
Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
Conduct usability testing to identify and fix user interface issues including but not limited to user acceptance and quality assurance testing.
Develop and maintain UI/UX standards and best practices.
Work closely with cross functional teams including digital, design and IT to solve problems and innovate CUNA’s digital platform.
Other duties and projects as may be assigned from time to time.
Experience should include:
Experience working with vendors and consulting firms (e.g. web development). Strong background in human-computer interaction and interaction design. Strong, professional team player who can communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, strong executive-level presence and deep subject matter expertise. Excellent project management skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Outstanding presentation and oral and written communications skills and comfortable working with colleagues in a variety geographic locations.
